James O. Shaull

YORK- James O. Shaull, 77, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at York Hospital. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge arrangements. Born June 10, 1938 in Brogue, James was a son of the late J. Oscar and Minnie B. (Crawford) Shaull. He spent 26 years driving a truck for his brother at J. Robert Shaull Trucking and then 11 years on his own at Shaull Trucking and most recently drove for York Concrete until his retirement in 2009. James was an avid hunter and traveled to Wyoming, Idaho, Maine, Virginia and Colorado for hunting trips. He was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and the National Rifle Association. James was the owner and member of the White Tail Deer Camp and the Hippy Haven Camp. Mr. Shaull is survived by an ex-wife, Rosalie Shaull of Red Lion; a son, Dennis Shaull of Airville; a daughter, Ann Vickers and her husband Robert of Brogue; ten grandchildren, Bob, Brandy, James, Joy, Desiree, Jacqueline, Ryan, Tiffany, Thomas and Donald; 17 great grandchildren; a brother, Harold Shaull of Brogue; two sisters, Olga Eveler of Felton and Ethel Minnich of Red Lion, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a son, Ronald J. Shaull, two brothers, J. Robert Shaull and Lester “Pep” Shaull, and a sister, Mary Shaull.
