York - James M. Locke, 54, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 at his residence in West Manchester Township. He was the husband of Debra S. (Paup) Locke to whom he was married for 20 years. A celebration of life tribute will be 8 PM Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, with family friend, Donald Alspaugh officiating. A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM Tuesday, at the funeral chapel. Burial will be private in Greenmount Cemetery. Born February 22, 1956 in York, he was a son of the late James E. and D. Jeane (Gobrecht) Locke. He was currently employed with Guards Mart as a Security Guard. James loved his family, they always came first. Throughout the years he always remained hands on and involved in his sonTMs activities. He also enjoyed the family parties, which always lasted all day and night. He was a member the West York V.F. W, a 13 year member of the National Guard and an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. In addition to his wife, James is survived by, one son, James E. Locke of York, one sister, Stephanie A. Seredych and her husband, Fred of York, two brothers, twins; Timothy P. Locke and his wife, Sandy of Blackwood, NJ and Thomas A. Locke and his wife, Marla of Dillsburg, nieces and nephews and his 2 dogs and 4 cats. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SPCA, 3159 N.
