James H. Laughman

WELLSVILLE – James H. Laughman, 81, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at UPMC Memorial Health. He was the husband of the late Ruth Ann (Crites) Laughman. A graveside tribute service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in Emanuel Cemetery, 1194 Pinetown Rd., Lewisberry with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born January 29, 1939 in Wellsville, a son of the late John and Mildred (Newland) Laughman, he retired from Roadway Express in 1996 after 26 years of service. James was a member of Teamsters, enjoyed working on the farm and fishing, particularly deep-sea fishing. Mr. Laughman is survived by two sons, Raymond and wife Kathey Laughman and Adam and wife Beth Laughman; a daughter, Melinda Berkheimer; and three grandchildren, Travis, Cole and Wade.
