James H. Koble

SEVEN VALLEYS- James H. Koble, 90, died on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at home surrounded by family. He was the husband of Sandra J. (Mohlman) Koble to whom he was married for 69 years.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Certified Celebrant Amy Favorito officiating and full military honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard at the start of the service. A viewing will be from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service. The service will be livestreamed at HeffnerCare.com around 3 p.m. on James’ obituary page.

Born on April 14, 1934 in York, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Mary P. (Topper) Koble. James was a CAD designer for 18 years at Three Mile Island.

Mr. Koble served our country for 18 years in the United States Navy. In his spare time, he enjoyed beekeeping, being outdoors, farming, riding his tractor and HAM radios. Most importantly, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Along with his wife, Sandy, James is survived by his son, John Koble and his wife, Stacey of Raleigh, NC; two grandchildren, Zachary Koble of Charlotte, NC and Ryan Koble of Raleigh, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
