YORK - James G. Keiser, 74, died on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Manor Care Kingston Court. A viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Guinston United Presbyterian Cemetery. Born on April 30, 1940 in Freysville, he was a son of the late James C. and Mamie (Bailey) Keiser. He graduated from Red Lion High School and attended Elizabethtown College. James was a truck driver for Roadway Express and later drove independently. He also was a farmer. Mr. Keiser was a member of Guinston Presbyterian Church. Jim loved to fish and hunt. He was a member of the F & AM Masonic Lodge #663 in Fawn Grove and a member of the local truck drivers Teamsters Union. Mr. Keiser is survived by three sons, Bryan Keiser (Jane) of Brogue, Brent E. Keiser (Melissa) of Red Lion and James G. Keiser, II (Nicole) of York; one daughter, Letha Partee of York; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Steve Keiser (Barb) of Newark, DE; one sister, Beth Adler of Chestertown, MD; several nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Tonya Foutz(Nick). He was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Lynette Brubaker. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 924 N. Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403.
