James Freed, Jr.

James Freed, Jr. September 29, 1957-August 5, 2013 James Freed, Jr. of Troy, PA passed away at home on Monday, August 5, 2013 after a long illness. Jim is survived by his parents James Sr. and Carole, his wife Diana who he married on August 13, 2004, his brothers: Don, Michael, and Ronald, and his sister Mary Jo. He is also survived by two sons Jacob and Mark, his step son William Bruce, his step daughters Francis Yaw and Melissa Simon, his three granddaughters: Bella, Cora, and Emily, and his two beloved dogs Edgar and Allister. Jim was an avid collector of antiques and military memorabilia. He was a motorcycle enthusiast. He also enjoyed renovating his Victorian house and yard work with his wife. He will be missed very much and forever loved. The memorial service to honor Jim’s life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in Jim’s memory to the Bradford County Humane Society PO Box 179 Route 220 Ulster, PA 18850.
