James Edward 'Jim' Brown

YORK- James Edward “Jim” Brown, 55, of Manchester Township died, Friday, April 6, 2012 at his residence. He leaves his loving companion of 22 years, Pam J. Kellaher. A private service will be held at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York. Jim was born in York on November 24, 1956, son of the late H. Peter Brown and the late Nancy (Klinedinst) Bender. He worked for Graybill’s Inc., H&N Business Systems, and he was an automobile wholesaler. Jim was a 1975 graduate of William Penn Senior High School and attended Broward County Community College in Florida. He was a member of York County Racing Club and an avid sprint car fan, traveling to tracks around the region. He also enjoyed golfing, and loved his dogs, Schnickers, and Zowe and his many cats. Along with his companion, Pam and her family, Jim leaves a half sister, Suzanne Bender; an uncle, Harry Brown and his wife Barbara, cousins, Andrew B. Brown and his wife Danila and Cassandra “Sandy” Strawn; step father Harold Bender; step brother, Jeff Bender and his wife Sandy, step sister Debbie Warner and her husband Scott; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
