James Edgar Roberson

HALLAM- James Edgar Roberson, 79, died Monday, May 25, 2015 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Debra K. (Ruth) Roberson, to whom he was married for 33 years. Services for Mr. Roberson are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Born April 21, 1936 in Kalamazoo, MI, he was the son of the late Fred B. and Marian A. (Waller) Roberson. James worked as a bus driver for Rabbit Transit until his retirement in 1995. Mr. Roberson served our country for two years in the United States Army. He was an avid antique collector, enjoyed woodworking and was a lifetime member of the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association. In addition to his wife, Mr. Roberson is survived by two sons; three daughters; 11 grandchildren; and one sister, Marianne Harsh and husband Mike of Mt. Vernon, OH.
