James B. Spinks

In loving Memory of James B. Spinks SR. James Benjamin Spinks SR., 81, of Elkins, WV passed away peacefully Friday July 20th, 2018 surrounded by family in York, PA. James was born to Lloyd and Vecie Spinks on October 18th,1936 in Orlando, WV. He enlisted in the Army at age 23. Where he served some time then was honorably discharged. Soon after worked for the railroads for over 40 years before he retired. James married his first wife Katherine Spinks of Baltimore, MD around the age of 21. Katherine and James divorced respectively, after being blessed with four children, Annette, Jimmy, Julie, and Gary. James then married his second wife Shelia Hensley- Spinks for the remainder of their lives in Elkins, WV. Up until last week, his wife Shelia preceded him in death leaving him to move closer to his children in York, PA. He enjoyed his last years surrounded by 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family has asked respectively, to view and bury their beloved James with just family and friends. Thank You.
