TAMPA, FL James Alan Logue, 48, formerly of York, died Wednesday evening, January 7, 2015 in Tampa, Hillsborough County, FL. James was born April 15, 1966, in York. He was the son of Larry K. and Ann M. (Gross) Logue of York. He was a 1984 graduate of Spring Grove Area High School and later obtained his Pennsylvania Realtor’s license. James enjoyed growing plants and over the years successfully raised an impressive collection of the carnivorous variety. In addition to his parents, James is survived by his sister, Nancy and Dana Billet of Red Lion; his niece, Britttany and Vincent Why; his nephew, Shane and Michelle Dent; and his great-nephew, Hayden Why. Following cremation, a service to celebrate James’ life will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 24, 2015 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 839 W. Market St., York with the Rev. Kevin T. Shively officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at a reception in the church lobby. Private burial will be at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, York is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to either St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 839 W. Market St., York, PA 17401 or to York/Adams Drug & Alcohol Program, York County Government Center, 100 W. Market Street, Suite 301, York, PA 17401.
