James A. Sculthorp

YORK—James A. Sculthorp, 85, passed in the presence of his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 17, 2018. He was the husband of Lorraine (Little) Sculthorp. They would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on November 20th. Born January 15, 1933 in Weldon, North Carolina, he was the son of the late James A. and Ethel P. Sculthorp. Jim served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a charter member of Grace Fellowship where he served on the elder board and numerous committees and boards. He enjoyed his garden and baseball. Jim umpired for the Central and Susquehanna Leagues. He retired from AMP, Inc., after 18 years and prior to that he was employed with Univac for 21 years. He worked in Human Resources for both companies. In addition to his wife, Jim is also survived by two children, James Odell Sculthorp and Sharon Dean Fuller and her husband, Pete. A Funeral Service is scheduled at 4PM, Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Grace Fellowship, 1405 Seven Valleys Rd, York. Officiating the service will be Pastor Michael Anthony. A viewing will be held from 3-4PM at the church. Burial will be 11:30AM, Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery; Annville—Lebanon Co.
