James A. Miller

RED LION--James A. Miller, 81, passed away Wednesday January 13, 2021 at Rest Haven Nursing Home. He was the husband of Thelma J. “Jean” (Coughenour) Miller. A public viewing will be held from 1-2PM, Friday January 22, 2021 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. All PA Dept. of Health COVID-19 guidelines will be followed including capacity restrictions inside the Funeral Home and masks required. A private burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born April 6, 1939 in York, he was a son of the late David I. and Florence M. (King) Miller. He was employed for many years with Consolidated Freightways as a truck driver. A United States Navy Veteran, he was also a member of the Craley Fish and Game and the National Rifle Association. In addition to his wife, Mr. Miller is also survived by his son, Scott L. Miller and wife, Natalie of Tucson, AZ; two grandchildren, Jane and Hannah Miller of Tucson, AZ. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SPCA, 3159 N.
