Jacqueline N. Snellbaker

York- Jacqueline N. Snellbaker, 73, of York, died Monday at her residence. Jackie was born August 30, 1933, in York, a daughter of the late Sylvia J. (Gabert) Snellbaker. She was employed for several years with Harley Davidson in management as a paint scheduler and line foreman, until she retired in 1995. Jackie was very athletic and enjoyed playing softball and was on an AMF bowling league. She was an Orioles fanatic. Most notably, she was an avid golfer. A funeral tribute service will be 10am, Friday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd.,York with Rev. Fred Walthour officiating. Visitation will be 9-10:00am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens. Jackie is survived by a brother, Larry R. "Smokey" Snellbaker of Dover; nieces, Deb Gabert of Mt. Union, Barbara Green of York, Linda Lohenitz of Etters, Brenda Kiepert of Jacobus, and Cindy Spangler of York; nephews, Byron Snellbaker, Duane Spangler, Gregory Snellbaker, Jeffrey Snellbaker, and Keith Snellbaker all of York; many great nieces and nephews; many great-great nieces and nephews; and neighbor and dear friend, Lucy Werner of York. Preceding her in death are her brothers, Boyd Gabert, James and Wilbert Snellbaker; a sister, Delores Spangler, a nephew, Michael Spangler; and a niece, Sharon Sue White.
