Jacqueline Marilynn (Dunlap) Weitkamp

YOE Jacqueline Marilynn (Dunlap) Weitkamp, 89, died Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Manor Care of Dallastown. She was the loving wife of Dean S. Weitkamp to whom she was married 53 years at the time of his death on November 4, 1996. Mrs. Weitkamp was born August 6, 1924 in Yoe. She was the daughter of the late Carl J. and Ethel K. (Kohler) Dunlap. Mrs. Weitkamp was a graduate of the Dallastown High School class of 1942. She was formerly employed as a secretary at York Corporation before leaving to raise a family. Mrs. Weitkamp was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Yoe. Mrs. Weitkamp is survived by a daughter, Karen S. Morton and husband, Robert of Yoe and a son, Dr. Galen L. Weitkamp and wife, Martha of Macomb, Ill. She is also survived by a grandson, Carl W. Weitkamp of Allston, MA. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with her pastor, the Rev. Troy Harrold officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Tuesday at the chapel. Private burial will be in the Yoe Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 81 North Main Street, Yoe, PA 17313. The family wishes to thank the staff at Manor Care Dallastown for their loving care to Jackie while she was there.
