Jacqueline F. Snyder

RED LION—Jacqueline F. “Jackie” (Feeser) Snyder, 88, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at her residence in Red Lion. She was the wife of the late Gable G. Snyder.

A Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00PM, Friday, March 31, 2023 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00PM. Officiating the service will be Certified Celebrant Allison R. Duke. Burial will be held in Red Lion Cemetery.

Born March 20, 1935 in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Grant and Janice (Kilmoyer) Feeser.

Following her high school graduation, she went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Education at West Chester University. She also attained her Master’s degree as a Reading Specialist from Millersville University.

She was employed as a reading teacher at Red Lion Jr. High School for 34 years until her retirement.

Her world revolved around her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid crafter and enjoyed knitting and cross stitch. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Red Lion, Red Lion Women’s Club, local card clubs, various Red Lion Education Associations and enjoyed lunch gatherings with former employees. She also enjoyed the beach and spent winters with her husband and other snow bird friends in Key West, FL.

Jackie is survived by two daughters, Lisa A. Dellinger and husband, Glen of Red Lion, Karen S. Sweigart and husband, Brian of Lititz; four grandchildren, Kyle Dellinger and wife, Lauren of Red Lion, Katelyn Donecker and husband, Eric of Red Lion, Karl Dellinger and Lauren Sperry and husband, Rob of Lancaster; three great grandchildren, McKenna, Hudson Sperry and Wella Dellinger and nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her son, G. Grant Snyder and sister, Janice Chabitnoy.
