Jacob Ryan Miller, beloved son, brother and friend, went home to our Lord on Sunday, May 23, 2021. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 309 S. George St., York with Reverend John M. Kuchinski officiating. A visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the mass. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Born on August 16, 1983 in York, he was a son of Joseph R. and Debora (Costlow) Miller of York. Jacob was a 2002 graduate of West York High School and a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance and a minor in Economics. Jacob formerly lived in New York City and worked for Morgan Stanley in the Bank of New York. He currently was employed by ES3 in Lewisberry. Along with his parents, Jacob leaves two sisters, Meghan Ringlein (Nick) of Plymouth, NH and Audra Fry (Eric) of Carlisle; nephews, Jack and Ben Ringlein; and loving girlfriend, Julie Bowsher of Mechanicsburg; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins who dearly loved him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Donna Miller and Thomas and Mary Costlow. Jacob enjoyed reading historical war novels, liked comedy and loved fishing. He was a sports enthusiast, being a fan of the Baltimore Orioles, Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity of your choice in Jacob’s memory. The family asks that you please hug someone close to you. You never know when it will be the last hug.
