Jacob M. Billet, Jr

York--Jacob M. Billet, Jr., 61, passed away December 7, 2017 in Hellam Twp as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was the husband of Jacklyn A. (Carrigan) Billet to whom he was married for 37 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 7PM, Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A viewing will be from 5-7PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held 11AM, Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Zion UM Cemetery in Red Lion with full military honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Born August 18, 1956 in York, he was a son of the late Jacob M. Billet Sr., and late Marian A. (Heiner) Billet. He was employed with Ames in Camp Hill as a Process Technician for the last 15 years. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, gardening and was a huge fan of classic rock music. Jacob was also a United States Marine Corps veteran. Mr. Billet is survived by three children, Jacob M. Billet III and wife, Nikki, Justin M. Billet, and Jerrica M. Cornelius and husband, Ryan; two grandchildren, Arika and Colton; one brother, James Billet, Sr; one sister, Janiece Tracey and husband, Jeff; mother-in-law, Helen M. Warner and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Billet. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choosing.
