LOCK HAVEN - Jack W. Walters, 72, of Mifflintown and a former resident of Swissdale passed away, Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. He was born April 16, 1942 in Lock Haven a son of the late Lewis E. and Grace M. (Englert) Walters. Jack was married April 14, 1962 to the former Linda L. Rote. They celebrated 52 years of marriage. He worked for Hammermill and Eaton Corp. in Dover, NJ. Jack served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Surviving are his loving wife; and one daughter Grace M. Walters of Mifflintown also a granddaughter Riley. A brother Theodore Walters of Lock Haven survives him. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society (Clinton Unit) 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701. Burial will be private at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
