Jack M. Anderson, Jr.

RENOVO - Jack Marvin Anderson, Jr., 58, died Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center, State College where he was a patient two days. He was born February 21, 1957 in York, PA the son of the Jack M. Anderson Sr. and Irene J. (Waltemyer) Orwig. He was married to the former Becky L. Silverstrim on May 30, 2010. They celebrated five years of marriage together. Jack was a self-employed trucker; he also worked for Susquehanna Transit. Earlier he worked at Nicholas Packing in Loganton. He enjoyed the outdoors, going to camp, hunting and fishing. Jack was a member of the Son’s of Italy and the American Legion of Renovo. Surviving are his loving wife, his Mother of Shrewsbury, three sons Jack M. (Nicole) Anderson, III, Larry “Bear” (Michelle) Anderson both of Mill Hall and Matthew Anderson of Lock Haven. Two step-daughters Erica (Walt) Miller of Texarkana, TX and Danielle Silverstrim of Lock Haven. 11 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. One brother Doug Orwig of Shrewsbury and two sisters Brenda of York and Tammy of Georgia. His father and a son Toby Anderson preceded him in death. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with the Rev. Mark Riley officiating. Friends and relatives will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Bald Eagle Twp.
