Jack L. Henry

Carlisle—Jack L. Henry, 84, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Church of God Nursing Home in Carlisle. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 AM, Monday, October 7, 2013 at Bowmansdale Church of God, 101 E. Lisburn Rd, Bowmansdale with his pastor, the Rev. Michael Walker and Rev. Bradley Moore officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM, Monday at the church. Burial will be held in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born February 20, 1929 in Bowmansdale, he was a son of the late Ralph T. and Helen E. (Kennedy) Henry. He was self employed as a landscaper/groundskeeper for several private residences. He was a life member of Bowmansdale Church of God, where he had a perfect attendance record for many years and did custodial duties. He was a loving son, dedicated to his mother. Jack enjoyed music, listening to records and playing the Organ/Piano. Mr. Henry is survived by 7 cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul C. Kennedy.
