York-Jack F. Ream II, 64, died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Diane M. (Myers) Ream with whom he celebrated 26 years of marriage. A Celebration of Life Service will be 7 pm, Monday, March 28, 2011 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, with the Rev. Beth A. Schlegel of St. Peter\'s Lutheran Church in York, officiating. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm, Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Born November 15, 1946 in York, he was the son of the late Jack F. Ream Sr., and Dora G. (Frantz) Ream. He graduated from Gettysburg College, where he was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity and later earned his law degree from Dickinson School of Law. Throughout his 38 year career as an Attorney he has worked with the law firms of Morris Vedder and Ream, Cain Brown and Roberts and was currently partnered with Ream Carr Markey and Woloshin. He was a member of the Country Club of York, York County Bar Association and a former member of the Lafayette Club. In addition to his wife, Diane, Atty Ream is also survived by three sons, Michael B. Ream and his wife, Leigh Anne, Bryan A. Ream and his wife, Libby and Jack F. Ream III and his wife, Kristi; one daughter, Candace M. Creasy; eight grandchildren, Haley, Braden, Brianna , McKinley, Chance, Sofia, Trinity, and Sasha. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SPCA, 3159 N. Susquehanna Trial, York, Pa 17406 or American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, Pa 17603 or The Brain Aneurysm Foundation, 269 Hanover Street - Building 3, Hanover, MA 02339. Jack was an organ donor through The Gift of Life Donor Program which serves hospitals and patients in the eastern half of Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and the State of Delaware.
