Williamsport - Jack E. Welliver, 85 passed away, Monday, October 29, 2007 at Manor Care South where he was a patient five weeks. He was born April 27, 1922 in Williamsport the son of the late Robert & Rosetta (Greene) Welliver. Jack was married to the former Annabelle Louise McCoy who died February 10, 2000. He worked as a Supervisor at Carey-McFall Co., retiring in 1985 after 48 years. He was a member of New Covenant United Church of Christ, he enjoyed baseball and was an avid Penn State fan. He served in the Army during WWII and received a Purple Heart. Surviving are three daughters: Judy (Ronald) McKibben, Janice (John) Goodman and Jackie (Michael) Kibler all of Williamsport. Five grandchildren Fourteen great grandchildren One Great-Great Grandson He was preceded in death by a grandson Todd J. McKibben a sister Eva Gee and a brother Robert. The funeral service will be held 11:00 Thursday, November 1, 2007 at the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira Street with Rev. Clara A. Benson officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral home from 10:30 to 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Wildwood Cemetery.
