Ivan E. Ennis

WELLSBURG- Ivan E. Ennis, 78, of Elmira, NY passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012 at his home. He was born on June 30, 1933 in Malden, NY son of the late Henry W. and Marion R. Ennis. Ivan was an Army Nation Guard veteran, serving his country from 1951 to 1958. He was first employed by Curtis Wholesale and later Rose, Kimball & Baxter as a laborer from where he retired after 38 years of service. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and was a life member of the North American Fishing Club. Ivan is survived by his friends, including Virginia and Clifford Conklin. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Iona J. Ennis. Services for Ivan are planned for a later date. The Roberts Funeral Home, Inc. 279 Main Street Wellsburg, NY has been entrusted with the arrangements.
