Irma D. (Nagle) Super

POTTSVILLE - Irma D. (Nagle) Super, 94, formerly of Pottsville and South Williamsport, died Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Swarthmore. Born in Pottsville on July 6, 1916, she was a daughter of the late John and Cora Hock Nagle. She attended Pottsville schools. For 48 years she was married to the late Raymond C. Super, who died October 23, 1990. She resided in South Williamsport from 1961 until 2008, when she moved to her daughters home in Swarthmore. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville and the St. Marks Lutheran Church, Williamsport. Irma and Raymond were avid fisherman, going to Canada where they vacationed for many years. Surviving Irma are: two daughters, Irma Williams, Swarthmore and Barbara and her husband Harry Sober, Montoursville; a son, Raymond C. Super, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, Liberty; six grandchildren, Kevin and his wife Mirna Williams, Lisa and her husband Dean Weitzman, Kathleen Sober, Harry and his wife Maria Sober, Jr., Weston Super, and Emmalee Super; three great grandchildren, Nickolas Williams, Sarah Weitzman and Jared Weitzman; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Irma was preceded in death by: her step father, George Hartzell; two brothers, Malcolm and Joseph Nagle; and two sisters, Carolyn Mager and Frances Hoban. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM from the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville. The Reverend Regnal Liebensperger will officiate. Family and friends may call from the funeral home on Friday from 9 AM until time of service. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pottsville.
