Irene Rose Ike" (Chrzan) Stone

TROY- Irene Rose "Ike" (Chrzan) Stone, 74, of Troy, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. Ike was born on November 11, 1934 in Troy, the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Hayes) Chrzan. The community of Troy knew her best as the Medical Laboratory Technologist for the Troy Community Hospital, and worked for the hospital for over 45 years. She was Catholic by faith. Ike is survived by her companion Jim Shoemaker, her sons: Michael (Bonnie) Stone and William (Susan) Stone, Jr., both of Lakeland, FL, her daughter Stephanie (David) Williams of Troy, PA, her grandchildren: Steven (Laurie) Stone, Renee (Dave) Knisely, Tara (Eric) Booth, Tyler Williams, Hailey Williams, and Jared Williams, her great grandchildren: Caleb Seeley, Isabella Knisely, Jordyn, Booth, and Shayla Booth, her sisters: Annabelle Polly, Margaret Krise, Francis Chopak, and Kate Young, all of Troy, PA, several nieces and nephews, and her canine companion Midnight. Ike was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers: Ray, Vince, and Bill Chrzan. Services are private and at the convenience of the family. The Gerald W.
