Irene R. (Becker) Rohrbaugh

YORK Irene R. (Becker) Rohrbaugh, 93, died Saturday evening, February 3, 2007, at ManorCare-Dallastown following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Ralph H. Rohrbaugh of York New Salem. Mrs. Rohrbaugh was born September 18, 1913 in the Woodbury section of West Manchester Township. She was a member of St. Jacob's Lutheran Church in York New Salem for more than 50 years. She was also a member of the Golden Age group in York New Salem and the Windy Hill Senior Center. Mrs. Rohrbaugh is survived by a daughter, Anna Mae Conner of Middleburg, Va.; and a granddaughter, Linda Epler of Florida. She was preceded in death by a grandson, John W. Kramer, Jr., who died in a plane crash in 1979. She also leaves four sisters, Catherine Chronister, Dorothy Toomey and Thelma Dellinger, all of York County and Betty Gallo of Pottsville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Jacob's Lutheran Church, 99 E. George St., York New Salem, with her pastor, the Rev. Lisa Ann Hair, officiating. The family will greet friends and relatives following the funeral service. Private burial will be in St. Jacob's Union Cemetery.
