Irene M. Brazenec

POTTSVILLE- Irene M. Brazenec, 85, of Pottsville, passed away Monday at Schuylkill Medical Center- East Norwegian Street, Pottsville. Irene was born in Pottsville on December 15, 1924. Irene was a graduate of Pottsville high school. Irene was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church, Saint Clair. She was recently a member of Saint Patrick's Church, Pottsville. Irene was a member of SCOOP, Pottsville. She enjoyed visiting casinos both in Pennsylvania and in Atlantic City, NJ. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and could be found every Sunday at Reninger's Market, Schuylkill Haven, looking for a bargain. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Frank P. Brazenec, who passed away in 1985; her brother, John Brazenec. She is survived by her daughter, Rosemarie Nutley, wife of Gary, of Lakeland FL; her three sons, Barry Brazenec, husband of Barbara, of Southampton, NJ, Terry Brazenec, of Cypress, TX and Jayme Brazenec of Schuylkill Haven; her two grandsons, Corey Brazenec and Jarrad Nutley; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Patrick's Church, 400 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville. Friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until time of Mass in the church. Interment will be held in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Saint Clair.
