Irene L. (Black) Good

YORK - Irene L. (Black) Good, 85, passed away Friday, April 13, 2007 at The Brethren Home in New Oxford. She was the loving wife of the late Daniel F. Good, who passed away in August of 1989. Irene was born in Reading on May 1, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Albert F. and Emily E. (Heckendorn) Black. Irene was a member of St. Paul Community Church in Homewood, Il, where she resided for 33 years. She enjoyed golfing, and going out to eat. She also traveled extensively. Irene enjoyed taking care of her family and was a wonderful homemaker. She leaves Dennis A. Good and wife Nancy of York, two Grandchildren; Michael Good of Baltimore, Md, and Michelle Perks and husband Brandon of York, a great granddaughter, Makenzie Perks of York, a sister, Emily Cover of York, and five nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road in York is handling arrangements.
