Irene C. (Grove) Grove

RED LION - Irene C. (Grove) Grove, 90, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Manor Care Dallastown. She was the wife of the late Henry A. Grove. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Zion United Methodist Church, 1155 Felton Rd., Red Lion with her pastor, the Rev. James C. House officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10:00 AM Saturday at the Church. Burial will be in Zion U.M. Cemetery. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born November 5, 1917 in Red Lion a daughter of the late O. Seden and Elizabeth M. (Flinchbaugh) Grove, she was a 1936 graduate of Red Lion High School. Mrs. Grove retired in 1982 from Red Lion Manufacturing and had also worked for various sewing factories in the Red Lion and Dallastown areas. She was a member of Zion U.M. and its craft club, Red Lion Garden Club, and enjoyed making crafts and sewing. Mrs. Grove is survived by a daughter, Patricia I. and husband Jackson Craig of Felton; two grandchildren, Thomas and wife Angela Craig and Carla and husband Donnie White; four great grandchildren, Dustin, Seden, Chelsea, and Aubree; a brother, Roy Grove of York; and a sister, Ruth Klinedinst of Bloomsburg. She was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Grove. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion U.M. Church, 1155 Felton Rd., Red Lion, PA 17356.
