THOMASVILLE- Imogene D. (Shrader) Flowers, 87, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at The Village of Laurel Run in Fayetteville. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Flowers, to whom she was married over 60 years before his passing. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York, with Pastor Ron Wettstein officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2 PM prior to the service. Burial will be private in Roth’s Reformed Cemetery. Born September 9, 1930 in Salisbury, PA, Imogene was the daughter of the late George R. and Mildred E. (Engle) Shrader. Mrs. Flowers was a member of Bible Baptist Church in York. She enjoyed crafts, attending craft shows and caring for her beloved cats. Imogene loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Flowers is survived by a daughter, Susan E. Myers of Dover; a granddaughter, Melissa Kahley and her husband Mark of Dover, and a great granddaughter, Taryn. In addition to her parents, Imogene was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Michael Myers.
