RED LION- Hugh A. Campbell, 88, was ushered into the presence of his Lord on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Phyllis A. (Matthews) Campbell, to whom he was married for over 63 years. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013 at New Fairview Church of the Brethren, 1873 New Fairview Church Rd., York, with his nephew Pastor Paul Bentzel officiating. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion and from 9-10 a.m. on Friday at the church. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on November 22, 1924 in Airville, he was a son of the late Alfred and E. Glenn (Anderson) Campbell. Hugh enjoyed anything tractor related and was a farm equipment mechanic for over 70 years. Mr. Campbell was a member of the former York Gospel Center. Along with his wife, Phyllis, Hugh is survived by one son, Gerald Campbell and his wife, Deb of Red Lion; one daughter, Linda Crowl and her husband, Bob of Felton; four grandchildren, Andrew Campbell and his fiancé, Shawna Longstreth, Aaron Campbell, Jennifer Robertson and her husband, Corey and Lauran Crowl and her companion Matt Smith; five great grandchildren, Shelby Stough, Liam Robertson, Wyatt Smith, Noah Robertson and Evan Robertson; and three brothers, Harold Campbell of Red Lion, Milton Grove Campbell and his wife, Pat of Felton and Harvey Campbell and his wife, Carol of York.
