Hilda (Grace) Reeser

TROY- Hilda (Grace) Reeser, 90, formerly of Gillett, PA passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the Troy Community Hospital. She was the wife of the late John H. Reeser, who passed away on January 23, 2009. Family and friends are invited to call from 1:00-2:00 PM Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. Interment will be at the convenience of Hilda's family in State Road Cemetery, Sullivan Township, PA. The family will provide their own flowers. Hilda was born on January 29, 1919 in Chemung County, NY, the daughter of the late Loren and Ida Mae (Veley) Grace. Hilda retired in 1976 from Westinghouse in Elmira, NY where she was employed as a Assembly person. She loved to cook and tend to her flower gardens. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Donna & James Boyden of Mainsburg, PA, son and daughter-in-law, Roger & Madge Reeser of New Market, NH, seven grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Hilda was predeceased by her parents, her husband John, her brother Loren Grace, Jr. and her sisters Edna Cole and Ruth Steen.
