Hilda E. (Grim) Grove

York – Hilda E. Grove, 94, formerly of Felton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Misericordia Nursing Center. A Celebration of life service will be on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 35 Gotham Place, in Red Lion with Pastor James Bonsell officiating. Prior to the service, there will be a viewing from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Wednesday at the convenience of the family. She was born September 5, 1927 in Red Lion to Norman and Ada (Arnold) Grim. She was married 50 years to Charles H. Grove who passed away January 1, 2000. Hilda Retired in 1990 from the United States Postal Service as a Clerk in the Felton post office. She also devoted her life to serving her church, Felton Bethany United Methodist Church, and to her community, Felton. She served in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Felton fire Company and the committee for Felton Day. In Addition to spending time with her family, she loved to read, bake, do stitchery, and word find puzzles. Hilda and Charles loved to travel, going to many states and taking a memorable trip to Austria. Mrs. Grove is survived by her daughter, Diana Rehmeyer and her husband Jay, of York; two sons, Jeff Grove of York, and Scott Grove and his wife Carol, of East Prospect; two grandchildren, Matt Rehmeyer and his wife Amy, of Texas, and Laura Rehmeyer of York; and two great grandchildren, Sydney Rehmeyer and Travis Rehmeyer of Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 49 High Street, Felton, PA 17322.
