Herbert L. Leavy

Herbert L Leavy, 82, of Williamsport, passed away on Monday, April 06, 2009 at The Williamsport Home. Herbert was born on February 8, 1927 in Montoursville. He was the son of the late Samuel and Elva (Hall) Leavy. Herbert is survived by his sisters Blanche Sechrist of Montoursville, Margaret (Dan) Beamer of Williamsport, Maxine (Frank) Stahl of Montoursville, and Arlene (Lenny) Jarrell of Montoursville, and several nieces and nephews. Herbert was preceded in death by his father Samuel Leavy and his mother Elva (Hall) Leavy. Family and friends are welcomed to call from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 08, 2009 at the Allen and Redmond Funeral Home Inc. 331 Elmira Street, Williamsport, PA. The funeral service to honor Herbert's life will follow the viewing at 7:00 PM on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in White Church Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
