Henry A. Stiltner

PHILADELPHIA- Henry A. Stiltner 57, of Pottsville died Tuesday morning at Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia after a short illness. Born in Williamson, West Virginia, March 22, 1951 the son of the late Henry C. and Julia Sushko Stiltner. He graduated from Pottsville Area High School in 1969. He attended Penn State, Schuylkill Campus for a year. Henry worked for many area textile companies, Arco Mills and Miller Group, both of Schuylkill Haven, Skip's Cutting, Ephrata, and Guilford Mills, Pine Grove, PA. He last worked for WalMart, Saint Clair, PA in the Garden and outdoor section. Mr. Stiltner was a member of the Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, Port Carbon. He was a coach for his childrens athletic teams. He was a bowler and past president for the Arco mixed bowling league, and he was a member of the Arco social club. He was a devoted Washington Redskin's fan, and he loved to play pinochle and poker. Henry also attended the Schuylkill Technical School for cutlery arts, and loved to cook. Mr. Stiltner is preceded in death by: his parents and a sister Gaynell Stiltner. Surviving is: his wife Lynne M. Beury Stiltner to whom he was married to for 36 years; a daughter Amanda L Stlitner, and her fianc矊ason M. Walters, Pottsville, PA; a son Brian J. Stiltner, a student at Penn Tech, Williamsport, PA; two twin grandson Brayden M. and Evrett J. Walters, Pottsville, PA; two sisters Barbara Peters, Pottsville, and Mary Walchak, saint Clair, PA; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday at the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. 6th & West Market Street, Pottsville, PA with the Rev. S. Regnal Leibensperger, SALM officiating. Family and friends may call Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 10:30 A.M. till time of service.
