Helena E. (Klunk) Schell

FELTON- Helena E. (Klunk) Schell, 91, died on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Pleasant Acres. She was the wife of the late Louis J. Schell to whom she was married for 54 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. A viewing will be from 9-10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born on June 4, 1927 in Dallastown, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Deller) Klunk. Helena was a homemaker, an employee at Dallastown Sewing Factory and she also worked for Don and Evelyn Flinchbaugh Poultry Farm. Mrs. Schell was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. Helena loved butterflies, gardening and bingo. She was also a member of the Dallastown Legion Post 605 Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Schell is survived by four sons, Steve Schell and wife, Nancy of McGaheysville, VA, Dennis Schell and wife, Debbie of York, Dana Schell and companion, Joni Knudson of York and Wayne Schell and wife, Denise, of Rona; two daughters, Tina Feltenberger and husband, Barry of Felton and Lucinda Bailey and husband, Chad of Saskatchewan, Canada; 10 grandchildren, Steve, Jr., Tara, Kevin, Eric, Bret, Trudy, Nicole, Justin, Ian and Paige; 11 great grandchildren; and three sisters, Cecilia Harmon and husband, Randall of Dallastown, Mary Smith of York and Hilda Snyder of York. She was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Smith; and four brothers, Leon, Paul, Eugene and Joseph Klunk.
