Helen W. Shreck

Lewisburg- Helen W. Shreck, 76, of Lewisburg, died peacefully, Sunday, March 4, 2007 at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital. She was the wife of Bright R. Shreck with whom she was married to for 52 years. Mrs. Shreck was born in Danville on March 16, 1930, a daughter of the late Royal R. and Mary (Bolig) Walter. She married Bright on October 30, 1954. She was a life member of the West Milton United Methodist Church. Spending time with her family gave her great pleasure, especially playing board games with them. She enjoyed canning and tending to her many flowers. Her favorite thing to do was to mow the lawn. A funeral tribute service will be held 11am Thursday, march 8, 2007 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, Inc., 125 N. Front St., Milton with her pastor, the Rev. John E. Lee officiating. Calling hours will be 7-9:00pm Wednesday, march 7, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Church Hill Cemetery, Lewisburg. Mrs. Shreck is survived by a son, David L. and his wife, Linda Shreck of VA; a grandson, Bryan Shreck of Berwick; two great grandchildren; a brother, John and his wife, Mabel June Walter of Mifflinburg; a sister, Margaret Boob of Winfield; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a son, Richard A. Shreck (1991) and a grand daughter, Jamie McNeill (2004).
