Helen Shellenberger

NEW CASTLE, DE- Helen (Dolan) Shellenberger, 91, formerly of Red Lion, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 in Delaware. She was the wife of Warren S. Shellenberger. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 251 E. Main Street in Dallastown, with a visitation from 10:30-11 a.m. Her son, Reverend Msgr. C. Michael Padazinski will be officiating at the Mass. Burial will be in Red Lion Cemetery. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements. Mrs. Shellenberger was born in Downingtown, PA on February 24, 1926, the daughter of the late Thomas F. and C. Cecelia (Bowman) Dolan. She worked 25 years for Bell Telephone in Downingtown and retired from Bell in Harrisburg. Mrs. Shellenberger was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dallastown. Mrs. Shellenberger leaves three daughters; Catherine Kirkpatrick and her husband Kirk, of New Castle, DE, Angela Hutchinson and her fiancé David Ellixson, Sr. of Wilmington, DE, and Denise Gincley and her husband Gary of West Chester; two sons, Reverend Msgr. C. Michael Padazinski of San Francisco, CA and Bruce C. Mobile of Coatesville; three grandchildren, Nina, Jaime, and Tim; two great grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren.
