Helen S. (Simmons) Rebert

YORK- Helen S. (Simmons) Rebert, 87, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Broadmore Senior Living in York. She was the wife of the late George E. Rebert, Jr. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Chapel United Methodist Church, 3050 Cape Horn Rd. in York. Her Pastor, The Reverend Robert A. Vizthum will be officiating at the service. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion and from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Heiland View Cemetery in Red Lion. Helen was born in Baltimore, MD on January 4, 1926, the daughter of the late Robert G. and Margaret L. (Buckingham) Simmons. Helen was a member of Chapel United Methodist Church in Red Lion, where she was involved with the Altar Guild, church picnics, and was a member of the Ever Faithful Sunday School Class. She was a housewife and a baby sitter for 11 different children. Helen leaves a son, Greg W. Rebert and his companion Cindy Berchtold of Dallastown; a daughter, Wendy L. Rudacille and her husband Michael of Dallastown; four grandchildren, Chad, Jared, Kristen, and Travis; and three great grandchildren, Cole, June, and Josiah.
