Helen M. (Wells) Lamora

YORK, PA- Helen M. (Wells) Lamora, 87, died Saturday, November 24, 2007 at York Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late David Lamora and the late Gilbert Barber. A graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Whispering Maples Mausoleum in Plattsburgh, NY. A viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at R. W. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 69 Court Street in Plattsburgh, NY. Mrs. Lamora was born in West Chazy, NY on November 14, 1920, a daughter of the late Ernest and Susan (Upton) Wells. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Lamora leaves a son, Donald Barber in Cadyville, NY and a daughter, June Roefaro in York, PA, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Russell Barber.
