Helen M. (Hoke) O'Neill

York—Helen M. (Hoke) O’Neill, 93, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Clifford W. Schaszberger and the late Daniel J. O’Neill. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11AM, Friday, January 4, 2019 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Eddie D.D. Miller. Burial will be private in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Born October 2, 1925 in York, she was a daughter of the late Walter E. Hoke, Sr and Myrna C. (Chronister) Hoke. She was employed as a Real Estate Agent with Baughman-Leader for several years. Helen had a passion for horses, she owned and worked a 17 acre horse farm until she was 84 years old. Mrs. O’Neill is survived by her daughter, Barbara J. Witter of York and a nephew, Terry Lenhart. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Robert and Walter Jr and one sister, Myrtle Lenhart. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SPCA, 3159 N.
