Helen L. Romano

Helen L. "Cissy" Romano, 60 of Williamsport and a former resident of Lock Haven died Monday, March 16, 2009 at Williamsport Hospital where she was a patient for one week. She was born December 31, 1948 in Pittsburgh the daughter of Carl and Helen Maughmer Romano. Helen was a loving mother and grandmother and she will be missed by all. Surviving are three daughters Tammy L. Miller of Lock Haven, Diana Handerhan of State College and Janice Rupert of Lock Haven and six grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister Toni McIlrath of Erie, PA. She was preceded in death by a brother Carl and a sister Connie Shaffer. A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 23, 2009 at Woolrich Cemetery with the Rev. Ginger Baker-Getz officiating.
