Helen L. Riale

RED LION - Helen L. Riale, 85, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Manor Care South. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 2650 Freysville Rd., Red Lion with her pastor, The Rev. Mark W. Jeske officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8:00 PM Tuesday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion and from 10-11:00 AM Wednesday at the Church. Burial will be in Freysville Union Cemetery. Born March 22, 1925 in Windsor Twp., a daughter of the late Clyde U. and Mary E. (Arnold) Riale, she was a 1942 graduate of Red Lion Area High School. Miss Riale was a hairdresser at Martha Loncaric Beauty Shop in York City for 12 years. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, WELCA and the retiree group at Emanuel Church; AARP Red Lion Chapter 1773; Green Thumb Garden Club; York County Conservation Society; and the ladies auxiliaries for Shrewsbury Lutheran Home and Gettysburg Seminary. Miss Riale is survived by two sisters, Lucretia E. Fake and Ruth C. and husband W. Douglas Peters both of Red Lion; two nephews, Dennis S. Peters and companion Trudy Frey and Donald L. and wife Kelly Peters; and a niece, Joyce and husband Denny Breneman.
