Helen L. (Pribble) Van Loon

York—Helen L. (Pribble) Van Loon, 81, passed away, Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at her residence in York Township. She was the wife of Robert F. Van Loon, with whom she was married for 60 years. A celebration of life service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, June 15, 2009 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 397 Tyler Run Rd., York, with pastors, Rev. Jonathan Bausman, Rev. James Murr, Rev. James Zeisloft, officiating. A visitation will be immediately following the service, Monday, at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Van Loon was born April 20, 1928 in Georgetown, IL, a daughter of the late Ruben and Vina (Whitaker) Pribble. She was a loving and dedicated homemaker to her husband and family and a long time member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in York. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Van Loon is also survived by two sons, Lawrence Van Loon and his wife Jean of Camp Hill and David Van Loon of York, one daughter, Melinda Baker and her husband Robert of York, 4 grandchildren, one brother, Kenneth Pribble of Palm Harbor, Fla., and nieces.
