Helen J. Jo" (Vizzio) Mcmaken

WILLIAMSPORT - Helen J. (Vizzio) McMaken, 92, died Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at Rose View Center. She was the wife of the late Vernon W. McMaken. Mrs. McMaken was born on January 28, 1915 in Gaines, PA, a daughter of the late Harry and Rosalina (Miele) Vizzio. She was employed for several years in the garment industry and was a manager of Focos Dress Co., Mohawk, NY. She was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Cogan Station. Mrs. McMaken was also a member of the North Central Sight Services Auxiliary. A memorial service will be held 7 PM, Friday, March 2, 2007 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Rt15 & Radar Rd., Hepburnville with Bishop William Allen officiating. Calling hours will be held 10 to 12:00 PM, Saturday, March 3, 2007 at the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, Inc., 331 Elmira St., Williamsport. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery following calling hours at the funeral home. Mrs. McMaken is survived by two sons, Clarence H. "Jack" and his wife, Carol Stewart of Chicago Il and Michael V. and his wife, Theresa McMaken of Logan, UT; a daughter, Rosemarie and her husband, Adam Confer of Williamsport; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; a brother, Arthur and his wife, Pat DeParlos of Cogan Station; and two sisters, Louise Hoffman of Williamsport and Isabelle Buttorff of S. Williamsport. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Lena Mailio and Angie Griffith; a brother, Frank Fuoco; and her first husband, Clarence E. "Jack" Stewart.
