WATSONTOWN- Helen E. "Hellion" (Rea) Phillips, 78, passed away at Evangelical Community Hospital on Thursday evening, June 5, 2008. She was the loving wife of Norman R. "Slim" Phillips. A Celebration of Life Tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, Inc., 125 N. Front St., Milton with her pastor of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rev. Scott E. Zimmerer officiating. A viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Watsontown Cemetery. Helen was born in Watsontown on March 29, 1930, a daughter of the late Emory A. and Mildred O. (Faux) Rea. She was a graduate of Watsontown High School and married Norman on May 27, 1957. Helen was employed with American Home Foods for over 25 years and previously with the former Philco Corporation, the former Milton Shoe factory, and the former Chef Boy Ardee. She liked to read and go out on her scooter. In addition to Norman, Helen is survived by two sons, David Phillips and Mark Phillips and his wife, Sunny; two daughters, Nancy Manning and her husband, terry and Kathy Phillips; a grandson, Rob Moyer, Jr.; and a sister, Carol Lee Rea all of Watsontown. Also surviving is her good friend, Ardis Bucher of White Deer. Preceding her in death are a sister, Ethel Madder and a niece, Amy Pentz.
