Heather A. Lear Knott

WILKES-BARRE - Heather A. Lear Knott, 30, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Monday at her home. Born in Kingston on October 1, 1978, she was a daughter of Patricia A. (Tamblyn) Shuey of Wilkes-Barre, and the late Robert R. Lear, Jr. She attended Meyers High School. Heather enjoyed cross-stitching, crafts and her 7 cats. She also enjoyed attending concerts and swimming, and wrestling. She was preceded in death by her father in 1988, maternal grandparents, Kenneth and June Tamblyn and paternal grandfather, Robert R. Lear, Sr. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her stepfather, John W. Shuey; paternal grandmother Dorothy Lear; sisters, Amy Dewey and her husband Ken, April Lear Krawchak and her husband Pat, and Anissa Lockwitch; nieces and nephews, Joshua and Angeleigha Lear, Alexandra, Kenny, Myles and Isabelle Dewey; aunts, Debra Lawrence, Lynn Lear Bell, Colleen Lear; uncle, Mark Lear; cousins and fianc裬 John Beaver. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 7:00 PM at Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.
