Hazel P. (Baker) Davis

YORK- Hazel P. (Baker) Davis, 95, passed away, Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Country Meadows of York. She was the wife of the late Ray G. Davis. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. on Monday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Mrs. Davis was born in Hoy, WV on June 23, 1912, a daughter of the late John W. and Mary Ann (Fultz) Baker. She retired from Danskin in 1977 after 48 years of service. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in York. Mrs. Davis leaves a daughter Geraldine Funkhouser and her husband Hobart of York, two grandchildren: David B. Funkhouser and his wife Julie of Salt Lake City, UT, and Brian S. Funkhouser and his wife Peg of Dover and three great grandchildren Emily, Ann and Kevin Funkhouser.
