DOVER - Hazel K. (Cook) Page, 92, passed away Monday, November 9, 2009 at her residence. She was the wife of Leslie H. Page, Jr. to whom she was married for 36 years on July 29, 2009. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 13, 2009 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with her pastor, The Rev. Edward J. Rowand officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2:00 PM Friday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Born May 26, 1917 in Edinburg, VA a daughter of the late John E. and Verdie K. (Carper) Cook, she retired from United States Postal Service where she had worked in the downtown York office. Mrs. Page was a member of Rohler's Assembly of God; enjoyed cooking, baking, and shopping; and loved to travel the world with her husband, Les. She was an avid animal lover, having left behind her beloved Terrier Chihuahua mix "Tiny" and Amazon Parrott "Morry." In addition to her husband, Mrs. Page is survived by two daughters, Christine L. Bentley and Barbara A. Bentley both of York; two sons, Clifford W. Bentley and Ray E. and wife Judith A. Bentley also of York; four grandchildren, Gregory Bentley, Teresa Bentley-Kaun, Lisa Liantonio, and Susan Epley; five great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; and a nephew, Stewart Horn of Montana.
