Hazel C. Cooper

AIRVILLE – Hazel C. (Webb) Cooper, 73, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at her residence. She was the wife of John H. Cooper to whom she was married for 29 years.

A Time of Fellowship with each other will take place at Bethany Baptist Church, 4162 Delta Rd, Airville, PA 17302, from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM. All are welcome. A Graveside Service will take place on 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Slate Ridge Cemetery, 205 Line Rd, Delta, PA 17314 with Assistant Pastor Pat Scarboro officiating the service. Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born May 15, 1951 in Airville, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Gladys (Dye) Webb. For most of her working life, she was a hairdresser at several salons, working the most at Nancy Laird Beauty Supply. In her free time, she enjoyed painting, sewing, crocheting, and gardening.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her children, Brian Gatewood, Robin Rohler, Greg Gatewood and his wife D, Candace Cooper, and Kenneth Cooper and his wife Kaitlyn; ten grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Judy Kilgore, Delcia Runkle and her husband Wayne, Mike Webb and his wife Donna, Dave Webb and his wife Natalie, and Cindy Grove and her husband Donald. She is preceded in death by five siblings, Delores, Glenda, Larry, Ronnie, and Evie.
